About Happy Belly Kombucha: We are a local, family-owned and operated Kombucha Brewery, established in June 2014. We are passionate about brewing fresh, awesomely delicious tasting kombucha for all to enjoy. We source our produce as local and as fresh as we can when in season, to take advantage of the bounties grown right here in Alberta. We partner with awesome local retailers who share our same values to bring Happy Belly Kombucha to market in different communities throughout the province! We have a strong following and are growing quickly with lots of opportunity for growth within the company. Job Description: As a Happy Belly Kombucha brand ambassador, you will be conducting sampling sessions at select Happy Belly Kombucha retail locations throughout the city in the city/town of your choice, promoting the Happy Belly Kombucha brand, and sharing your passion for our unique and flavourful brews with consumers! If you love kombucha, are passionate about nutrition and health, and support local, family-owned business, then we might be the right fit to grow together!

Duties:

  • Act as the face of Happy Belly Kombucha, representing our mission and company values

  • Carry out sampling at Happy Belly Kombucha retail locations within your designated area 

  • Be professionally in communicating with store managers/staff so that sampling sessions are carried out efficiently and effectively, providing mutual benefit for both Happy Belly Kombucha and the store 

  • Engage and interact with consumers in a friendly manner, while spreading the word about Happy Belly Kombucha

  • Create brand awareness and brand excitement

  • Answer consumer questions about Happy Belly Kombucha and kombucha in general

  • Fill in retail sampling reports, and submit documents in a timely manner

  • Maintain a professional appearance, keep sampling materials clean and in good condition, be on time for all events, be reliable and accountable, be positive and respectful in your communications with consumers, store staff, and Happy Belly Kombucha co-workers

Candidate Requirements:

  • Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality

  • Passionate about nutrition and holistic health

  • Kombucha lover!

  • Self-motivated and able to work well independently

  • Punctual, responsible, reliable, and organized

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to connect with people quickly, and make them feel welcome

  • MUST have tried kombucha, and preferably have tried Happy Belly Kombucha

  • MUST be able to stand for 3-5 hours at a time

  • MUST have a reliable vehicle

  • MUST have a smartphone 

  • MUST have a valid Food Safety Certificate

  • MUST be available SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS 

Must have:

  • Food Safety Handler’s Certificate

Must have at least one of the following:

  • Previous experience working as a brand ambassador

  • Holistic health education/work experience (CSNN, IIN, Etc.)

  • Experience as a fitness/yoga instructor
